Hey all,
I believe someone on this board cautioned me against Tranquility's ATN brief.. well I put on an X-Plus this morning.. and ended up wetting more than I planned to.. which isn't a problem if I change midday... and..I was used to changing an X-Plus after 4 hours so.. there i was wearing an X-Plus that had already taken 2 or 3 good size wettings.. which is just about as far as i like to push the X-Plus.. I tend to err on the side of caution to avoid leaks.. and I did not have the foresight to stuff a spare attends in a cargo pocket. So I had 3 options.. One, go with the same x-plus all day.. which is probably not recommended for the skin.. two.. go home and change and burn up gas.. or 3.. buy a 3 pack of Tranquilty ATN at Goodwill and hope they go on and protect adequately. The bag in question had already been opened and reasealed wtih tape. Ordinarliy I would only buy packages that are unopenend, but it was either buy these or drive home. I figured that since no one had worn these, it would be ok.. so right now I'm wearing a Tranquility ATN..and I must say it wasnt't as bad as i remembered fit wise.. they seeem adequate. I was surprised that i got all 4 tapes to tape on and hold, since in the past, Tranquility had an iffy track record when it came to fit. I would say though the diaper is a bit snug fitting.. and thin.. I was surpised that it seems as thin as depend.. I'm thinking i operate on a change when wet basis with these..or two wettings at the most, tops before I change..

Has anyone else been caught in a less than desiriable situation like this? how did you handle it?

Peace out!

Rob

Rob, I have worn the Tranquility ATN brief and agree that it is not bad. In its price category it does very well. It is important to bear in mind that the Tranquility ATN costs considerably less than an Abena or Dry 24/7 and should not be compared to them.

If you need to move up from the ATN, consider the Unique Wellness which is a high performer but less than the two diapers I mentioned.
