Well,

I went and talked to the urologsit today about my recurring symtoms.. and i was honest about not doing the pt regiment, and asked her if she has heard of incontinence being caused soley by stress, and the answer was yes, and I told her I wanted to rule out urinary tract infection, and kidney stones.. and she took a urine sample and told me that she would set up an xray with the hospital to check for kidney stones.. I asked her if she saw a reason for me to go back in with the pt.. and she said not unless you want to.. Honestly, i dont't see a reason.. I pretty much have the info she gave me.. the only benefit i could see would to get accurate numbers on how my pelvic floor is contracting.. etc etc.. which doesnt mean much when im dry... Doc said i know you dont want to try drugs, but how about if i give you samples of a drug that only affects the bladder.. Wanting to be fair and open minded, i said sure.. She hands me samples of Myrbetriq..and tells me to give it a month.. Now, on the one hand i was hesitant to take OAB meds due to them not really helping before, but that was before i went off the catapres.. so, I will give this a shot.

But, just like before.. there will be a point where i set a date..and say.. if nothjing works beyond this date.. ill just use protection and get on with my life..

Ok.. im at a point where i no longer to expect a quick cure that lasts for forever with no diapers at all..its a matter of how long i can stay out of them versus whether i can stay out of them permanetly
I realize that medication, biofeedback, pelvic relaxation therapy, and all the stuff is actually a treatment.. not necessarily a cure..

Peace out!

Good luck with your process! That particular drug has no generic so be prepared after the sample to pay a lot out of pocket for it if you choose to continue with it. I just cannot see the benefit to cost ratio making that drug worth it to me.
