As far as packing diapers.. this past spring..what i did is i sent some supplies down with my pparents before hand..a whole bag of attends i think.. along with a bag of underpads and lots of boosters too..and i brough some in a backpack too.. and i went thru half the bag while we were there.. but that may not work if your not in a situation where someone else is going there beforehand.. but if you are.. have them take some of your diapers with them and ask them to keep them there... it does help.

Update

My young friend has been back for awhile from her trip out west. Sounds like she had a great time  She told me she wore almost all cloth the whole time. But had to go back to disposables the last few days due to her monthly friend came to town  She made the same comment that Paul did. She was able to pack much lighter with cloth. She said almost every place they stayed at had a laundry facility. She said she kept a five gallon pail in the back of the van with a lid of course to put her used ones in. She said she kept about a gallon of water in it with a little bleach. and for the most part it worked OK. She said she did get a rash going about 1/2 way through the trip. She said it got real hot for a few days and that's when the rash started. Of course it had to be right in the crotch  She said she just loaded up on butt paste and got through it  She had one bad experience in Reno where some guy at the Hotel was trying to make a pass at her I guess several times :? He tried grabbing or pinching her butt once  She said he got a funny look on his face and never messed with her again  So all and all it sounds like it was a good trip. Her mother said I would have been very proud of her. She handled her condition very well :D

Hmm i wonder..for you ladies who are getting harassed by guys whether this would be a way to deter them..ROFL! This goes back to the contention that having a conditon like incon weeds out the would-be lusters after only one thing and keeps the true loves in the circle.

As a guy, i probably wont have an issue with ladies trying to grab my butt. LOL! But, i know what it is like to be an object of someone's lust. Lust is NOT love.

Great to hear about your young friend and Jane sandy.. hope all is well. you are an inspiration for me in dealing with my own incontinece.

I live in Florida so dealing with the heat is a non stop deal. What I have found to work best is using plenty of baby powder between my legs and puting it on over the plastic pants where the rub my legs. Then I put the powder on under the elastic on the plastic pants. This works for me.

I'm also big on Powder I swear by J&J cornstarch baby powder. I use it at every change I always lay out the new diaper and put on a liberal amount of powder on it before I put it on :D Both Jane and my young friend use it too. Jane never did until she met me. I remember telling her to use it. She said your kidding that's for babies?? I said it works for them so why can't it work for you? Well it took her a bit to start using it. But now she's like me she swears by it.....................Sandy :)

Update
Nothing much has been going on as of late. My Young friend and her mom have been over a few times in the last few weeks. Jane and the kids are doing well. We did all go and stay at a hotel for the heck of it last weekend Jane her kids and my young friend in one room and my hubby and me in another. For the most part we just hung around the pool area arcade area. We got going on one of those games where a claw comes down and picks up a stuffed animal? Between My husband my young friend and myself we must have blew over $100.00 in that stupid machine. But on the bright side Janes kids have about 30 some new stuffed animals  We did have a good one in the whirlpool Us girls were sitting in there with a few younger/collage age guys who may have had a few drinks a piece in them  One was reading the pool rules and another says looking at us gee I sure hope it's OK if I'm in here with that puss leaking out of that sore I got. And I came back with OH that's alright this would probably be a bad time to tell you that all three of us are all incontinent  My husband was in ear shot of us I saw him giggling. My young friend just sat there along with Jane. I thought they would have went along with it :?: The guys laughed at first I smiled at them. But they seemed to have some thoughts going through the back of thier minds when the other two girls clammed up. They left and the first thing I heard was SANDYYYY :!: What did you say that for :?: I said why not he was talking about his puss. Jane says well he was kidding. I said are you sure how do you know :?: Well they loosed up in a bit. I think I caught them more off guard then the boys  But hey did I lie  ......................................Sandy :)

Well, what can I say... some people just can't handle the truth.

It can take some time for people to become comfortable enough with their incontinence to be able to crack a joke about it. For me, it is one of those "laugh about it or cry about it" situations... and I'd rather laugh.

It does help to maintain a sense of humor about the whole thing.. and Sandy helps keep the mood light. However, i would not have been so bold as to say that!

Sandy,
That's great for Jane! She's finally getting a break, not including the break she got having you there to help her through all her problems. Keep us in the loop on Jane. ..............Paul Martin
