I am mobile, and sometimes I wear cloth diapers during the day and I would like to know if I am doing everything possible to conceal the cloth diaper which has more bulk the "most" disposables? There are advantages in wearing the cloth diaper during the day when extra absorbency is needed and changing will be difficult. The bulk of the cloth diaper has always been a disadvantage to the less absorbent disposable diaper, but depending on the situation sometimes it is best to wear the cloth diaper for absorbency and "hope" for the best for concealment. In the past, I have worn a cloth diaper ,with plastic/PVC pants over the cloth diaper with some kind of compression shorts over the plastic/PVC pants. My question is,....."Is there a better way?"

Everything you mentioned sounds good to me. Other options are to wear a onesie or diaper suspenders. If properly fitted, these may provide more lift to the cloth diaper. However, compression shorts will do more to smooth out the bulk. It is all a matter of choice. Upon occasion I have worn a combination of the methods, such as onesie plus compression shorts or diaper suspenders.
