Very interesting Tewi. I would not have expected the adult diapers to be featured so prominently. Thanks for the great pictures!

Thank-you Tewi

Those are great photos.
Its great to see that there are adult diapers available almost everywhere.

Just goes to show how many people are incontinent in the world, so we should NOT feel alone with this.

:D :D :D

I notice they put the adult diapers together with the baby diapers. I America this would never happen.

My wife and I just returned from several weeks working in Eastern Europe, in Hungary and Albania. We did not buy any diapers in Hungary, but did find some available in Albania. I will post some photos of the products that I found in a medium size supermarket in Tirana. I did not buy any of these products, but it is good to know that I can find them there when we go back. One package appears to be a Tena product.

Texan,

Very interesting that you found these in a supermarket rather than a medical supply store. Good post. Thanks.

Where has Tewi gone? Where have I seemingly disappeared to? Vanished?

On Friday the 25th of November 2016 I was in the Dubai International Airport. I was cleared through security and immigration. I was all set to board my flight to Hong Kong to then fly to Mongolia and then to Southern Russian Siberia.

And? I fell. I broke my left hip badly. I managed to get to Hong Kong (7-1/2-Hour flight) where my Doctor (Saturday the 26th) confirmed that the pain I was feeling was not imaginary and he wanted to operate immediately. Broken hip and all I flew to Seattle (12-Hours) on Monday the 28th, had a 3-hour layover then I flew 3-Hours to Phoenix Arizona where I was admitted to the Mayo Clinic. December 1st 2016 I had hip replacement surgery.

Now on March the 8th 2017 things are slowly getting better. It is a process. It is not an event.

So? I may not be leaving the country again. I may, BUT I may not.

So? Possibly / Probably NO more photos and research on the availability of 'products' Internationally from yours truly.

Still Smiling However .. Tewi

WOW Tewi

Im sorry to hear what you went through, but am glad to hear that you are doing better.
Im sure that flying with a broken hip was no fun picnic.

Thankyou for everything that you have posted in the past and Im sure that it has helped get some people out and travel again.

Tewi,

I was saddened to learn of your accident. :( That must have been a very rough trip back to the U.S.

We appreciate all of your contributions for us here and wish you a speedy recovery. Having suffered a severe accident myself, I understand what you mean when you say that the recovery is a process and not an event.

Keep us up to date on your status.
