That sounds exactly like what we have in the US, and what I found to be true in Japan as well.

Most stores and pharmacies have pullups, very few drug or medical stores have low to mid grade tab diapers, and you have to order premium diapers online.

In Canada on the west coast best place to buy diapers is Babykins http://www.babykins.com. They are in Richmond BC near Vancouver. Jenny is very helpful and understanding.

Hi Fred,
I agree with you. One of the biggest downsides of babykins is that shipments to Europe takes 6 to 8 weeks, which is beyond reasonable I would say. I'm sure if the shipment would be reduced to two weeks they would improve their business in Europe significantly.

Is it the fault of Babykins or is it the fault of the Canadian Mail Service? I opt for the reality that the Canadian Mail Service can be agonizingly slow. This is from actual experience. I have dealt with babykins since 1995.

Hello from Dubai UAE (United Arab Emirates). I have never been here to Dubai. I had no idea whatsoever about the availability of ' products ' here in Dubai. None. No clue. Are they available? Do they even know what they are? What happened next you wonder. Here's what happened. One storefront up the street from my hotel is a small ( VERY small ) pharmacy. In I walk. There they are! What about elsewhere in Dubai or in the UAE. IF they are available in this tiny pharmacy off-the-beaten-path in Dubai, they are certainly available here in a generic manner.

They did not have my size medium. I said .. They said .. Sir we will have them tomorrow morning. They did. Cost for a package of 16 size Medium is 80 UAE Dirhams or US $21.92 which translates to US $1.37 each. How are they. Right down the middle of the road. They are not super. They are not terrible. They work. They are indeed better than nothing. The side tapes, two on each side, come clean very nicely and I like this aspect of them. I dislike it when the side tapes tear the plastic covering. That is the bottom line as I see it. The package states: Made in the EU for PSL LTD, London, Ontario, Canada. IF I get more information I will be back here with an update. I plan to go to Oman, a country South of the UAE and I'll see what we find in Oman.

File comment: This is a very small pharmacy in a local area of Dubai. IF such a small pharmacy has products others will also.

I find this hard to believe.

In Dubai, see my post above about product availability in Dubai, THE FIRST, the VERY FIRST PHARMACY I went into had products. That was the good news. The not so good news was the product available was average. Not superior. Not horrible. Down the center of the road average.

I am now in The Sultanate of Oman. I am in Muscat, the capital city of The Sultanate of Oman. How many of you I wonder have ever heard of Muscat, Oman?

THE FIRST, THE VERY FIRST PHARMACY I went into here in Muscat, Oman, had products.

That is the good news. Here is the WONDERFUL NEWS. They carry Molicare products. Molicare products are among the best-of-the-very-best (in my humble opinion of course). I purchased one bag of 14 size medium briefs. They cost, in U.S. Dollars, $19.50. The store manager gave me a 10% discount.

Want another surprise? They were on view in the window of the store. I did not even have to go inside to see IF they had products.

Here are a few photos. AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY AMAZING! In my opinion of course.

File comment: My wife who cannot be with me on this trip will hoot, and she will absolutely holler when she sees this photo. What more on this earth do I need but MY Pharmacy, Subway and Starbucks. Amazing. Would I offend any of you and say that God Provides for us! I patronized all three! It was my first visit to all three as well!

File comment: The front of the Muscat Pharmacy you see on the left above. This is a chain of pharmacies. I am impressed very much from all I saw and experienced in purchasing what I needed.

File comment: This photo, taken from the outside of the Pharmacy, clearly shows the products to the public. Obviously they want the public to know they carry them.

File comment: The Molicare products a little more up close. This is a photo from within the Pharmacy. Above you saw photos from the outside so customers can see they are available. They only carried the Molicare line.

File comment: Molicare fitted, pull up, briefs. For now these are A1 absolutely perfect. THE COST: In U.S. Dollars $19.50. The manager gave me a 10% discount. The full wrap-around-briefs are available as you can see in the photos above.

File comment: I am not going to say I don't care who knows I use these. Truly I don't. But it is very nice to have a very opaque classy bag to carry them with me on the bus. A first class Pharmacy for sure.

Yeah, that's just amazing. You'll never see that in the US. No pharmacy I've ever seen will stock but the worst products in very limited quantities these days. You've even lucky to find the rare medical supply store that carries middle of the road products, and those are always hidden off to some side or back isle somewhere.

I might have to go visit there too some day, just for this kind of convenience. Plus the subway and starbucks next door. Lol.

I am sitting in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). I am in a city named Ras Al Khaimah located at the extreme Northeast corner of the UAE. The below photos tell a tale. Amazing.

File comment: This is a photo that looks out from my hotel window in Ras Al Khaimah at a very low key, small, shopping area here in the Northeast corner of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In this small shopping area is a market and a small pharmacy.

File comment: Look at the very lower left corner of the pharmacy store front. There you may be able to see a package of Molicare pull up briefs. This in Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. Amazing. The below photos will show them very clearly.
