New drug combination for OAB

Wed May 09, 2018 3:12 pm

Just found out the FDA has just approved Myrbetriq in combination with Vesicare. I got it over the medscape app so I'm having trouble finding the link for the article. These drugs are good alone but together they may have even better results. Something to look for if you can handle the side effects.

Myrbetriq is linked to hypertension. It was offered to me by my Mayo Clinic urologist. However, I already have blood pressure issues and they didn’t want to make it worse. If placed on it, I would have to be very closely monitored. I take a beta blocker but still would require close supervision. In the end, it was decided to be not worth the risk.
