I just wanted the nay Sayers to see this. Big deal I had a minor operation, i was back to work in three days. It is no big deal. Call Medtronic and have a chat with them
They can set you up with a Neurologist .

It's a whole lot better than wearing diapers. Besides they cost way too much.

I had the Interstem put in in January What a difference in me now. I no longer have to look for a bathroom. I wear normal underwear. I have no problems from it. I sleep all night and don't need to get up to go!

PM me and I can explain it to someone

My urologist is having me try a brand new procedure similar to interstim called neuro.. basically like interstim ony less invasive. Instead of a permanent implant, it implements stimulation of a nerve in my ankle. It requires weekly treatments for several months, but hey that's not a problem. If neuro does not work, I will then opt to try the interstim. Will keep you all posted! Have yet to hear about when they will start. but its not like im dying to get started..I've more or less accepted this incontinence.. id love for it to be gone, but if it doesnt go, it wont have that much impact on my life. I have been lucky enough to mentally adjust to it. Unless i lost all control(God forbid!) im comfortable with the idea of continuing life as is if need be.

Peace out!

Rob

As folks know I have the spinal nerve implant stimulator. It's not working as well as I would have hoped. Does interstem work like the thing I've got? I'm definitely NOT going through another surgery. I was wondering though could they tweak my implant for pain to target my bladder? I don't even know if my incontinence would be helped by such a thing and I really wont know more until my test on Friday. I'm just grasping for straws at this point.

I know this is an old post but I was wondering how the folks that have had this procedure done are doing.

Is it still working for you?

Have you had any concerns?

Any general advice?

Was wondering if anyone had an update after having this for a few years.
