What do you use along with the protection during your time of the month?

I use disposables and no other protection. I believe tampons may make it worse as they can soak up the urine inside you.
I you usually use cloth, consider disposables during the period.
Disposables are just a vary large sanitary pad.
Cloth diapers have to be rinsed immediately inn cold water to remove the blood. Otherwise it will stain the diaper. The same procedure as with cloth sanitary pads.

I use a tampon and a disposable when the flow is heavier. Otherwise, I use a tampon with much older cloth diapers. I’ve never had a tampon get soaked with urine…. (?)
If I can’t use a tampon for some reason, I use a cheaper disposable with a booster or pad and change pretty often as it gets generally unhealthy otherwise.

My sanitary pads can't stick to my diapers/nappies. I have to bear with a tampon.
