Will keep this short as still very poorly. Woke up in the early hours on Christmas morning with high fever and bad tecticle pain. Was admitted to hospital at 1100 AM where I remained until a few hours ago. I have uti and epididymis infection on strong antibiotics for the next 2 weeks. Ultra sound in a few days time then back to the hospital for the cath to be changed if all has cleared up. Worse Christmas ever but at least I am home now.

In the words of famous song " So this is Christmas what have I done ".

So sorry to hear about your problems and your stay in hospital. Hope you recover as quickly as possible. One of the family had a similar issue a number of years ago and we took the decision to move Christmas to just before twenlth night before the decorations were removed.

All the best for 2015!

Greenbank

Dave, Hope you feel better soon. My wife gets those UTIs and I know they hurt.

Wow Dave, sorry to hear this. I know all about that epididymis issue, had the same thing, it stopped me in my tracks for months. I finally had surgery and that solved my problem, but it is not a guarantee, but I had nothing to lose trying! Hope you get it resolved soon my friend, I will be thinking about you! :-) Puffy

Thanks everyone for your encouragement. Only got to half two in the morning this time before meds needed. Woke up sweating out like never before. Swelling is down a bit and am beginning to eat again for the first time since the 24th.

In the words of another song "Things can only get better".
