A while back I got a case of the Attends liners/shields they are something like 22 inches long 8 inches wide. My young friend and I have been using the as boosters in both our cloth and disposable diapers recently. Of course they are plastic backed so you need to slice open the back side so the wetness will pass through. We both like the top sheet they used it helps keep you drier even after the diaper has become rather wet. They do have two sticky spots one on each end. I myself don't use them but my young friend does. She claimed she had a little problem with them moving around for whatever reason I didn't have that problem. It maybe that I like my diapers to fit tighter against me then she does

That brings up a point. I, too, use boosters often for the extra security.

The Attends you mention is of ideal size (22" x 8") with the plastic backing.
I'm wondering if there are any disposables of that size or close with NO
plastic backing to be used as a booster? To me, that would be the ideal, rather than the smaller inserts/boosters currently available with NO backing. I've used some cloth inserts in the past of that dimension, but would like to see a disposable of that ample size and minus the backing and for use inside either a full cloth diaper or a heavy absorbancy taped disposable.

I'm not attempting any endurance records in one diaper without a change, but I do need the reassuring protection capacity when there is
a heavy flood and I cannot change in a reasonable time. I know we have
all been there.

Does anyone know of any boosters/inserts that are large size as Sandy described yet with NO plastic backing ?

Look at XPmedical.com for Abri-let boosters. Several sizes (pictured), and not plastic backing; these are made for just the purpose you describe.

For many years I've used the Tranquility full contoured booster's There close to about the same size as the Attends liner but are hour glass shaped Often times I'll wear the smaller Maxi size booster under the full contour one ..................Sandy

Just shows how much we do trial and error to get the best protection.

Hi Yall

Just a bit of friendly advice, when you use a disposable booster pad in a cloth diaper, be sure that you remove the pad BEFORE washing the diaper.

It can (and will) make a bid mess in the washer.

That happened to me last week, took a few minutes to get it cleaned out but had to run them through the dryer twice to get all the "stuffing" removed from them. lololol

not a frequent cloth user here...BUT, this same thing has happend
to me a time or two

no fun cleaning up all the gel chunks from the booster pad, either.
