Contact them and say you need a PE backing. I did when Tena went cloth and changed to ID super.PE. they are not bad.

Tena also do a PE backed brief called the Active Fit slip, and come in the same absorbencies and sizes as the regular slip. They're available from all the online incontinence supply websites in the UK; not sure if they cost more of less than the cloth-backed slip. A lot of people who used the old slip are dissatisfied with the new one.

Haven't ID gone to "breathable sides" now? How do they compare to the old type?

Hi Drew81,

I think it’s like 4wheel wrote - you can deal with the them. Normally I think that it would be easier to get the ID Slips as the Tena’s because ID do normaly better deals, but this change from time to time and if Tena won a tender then they try to offer them first... But anyway the NHS have to provide you with a working solution - and if Tena not work for you, they have to offer you an alternativ solution.

tena active fit with pe backing are miles ahead of the tena slip cloth backed, they stay put and do their job where as the cloth back just drop down and it is a all day battle with them.

i am going to try the I.D with breathable sides to see what they are like once i try them i will be back on with a report and for 28 pack they are around £10.00 which is fairly good.
