Diapers, pads, or other types of protection?

I have been using the onesies from DryWear/Fetware and strongly recommend them. They also use plastic snaps.
In addition to not triggering a scan at a TSA airport security check, I have found onesies with plastic snaps to last much longer than metal snaps. I seems to be because the base of the plastic snap is bigger in diameter than for most metal snaps. This distributes the force of unsnapping over a larger lares.
