Hi,

On advice from others I use over my disposable pants/diapers cotton underwear and plastic pants (during the night). This to prevent leakage when i sleep on my side. I read on this forum that http://www.babykins.com/store/terry-lined-plastic-pants/kins-adult-lined-vinyl-pull-on-pant/ Babykins in Canada sells plastic / vinyl pants with cotton inside. I'm struggling with the sizing. For your information I wear Levi's jeans size 33-34. I measured my hip and I the 'hip width is 103 cm (40 inch). Is this a size medium?

Thanks for your help.

Bob .. there have been a number of posts on this site (look in the index for the topic: Plastic pants over disposables but with cotton pants as well .. April 24, 2014 .. authored by 4wheeldave) about the problems with the terry-lined-plastic-pants Babykins or anyone else sells. I have .. from actual experience with Babykins dating back 20-years .. learned that the terry lining is a problem in drying the combination of terry-plastic pants. I much prefer to use plain absorbent cotton knee-length-pants to absorb any leakage from the basic pad / brief / pull-up pants. Then .. in the clothes dryer .. I can dry the washed cotton pants at high heat .. and NOT have any worry about melting the plastic overpants with terry lining. See? Washing the terry-lined-plastic-pants is an issue because in the spin drying process of the washer .. the plastic overpant will not allow the terry lining to adequately spin-dry. So they go into the dryer quite wet and then you have the melting of the plastic pant to deal with. As to sizing .. I would suggest you order size medium plastic overpants from Babykins for you waist size. Good luck on this.

Bob, if you have not already ordered anything, I am a 32-33 waist, and I got the Medium for over top a night weight cloth diaper, and I also wear then over a Tena super, with room to spare. Unless you have multiple layers at night, a Medium should fit you great, hope that helps U! 8) Puffy
