Hello Family
I'm Dechayga a disable veteran. I became incontinence after battles with cancer. I'm a Research-Oncology Patient that had radiation treatment in 2012 at an VAMC. I'm currently finding out that the radiation exposure fried my prostate which I had a savage removal of prostate in 2017. Since then I have total urinary incontinence, incontinence without sensory awareness, erectile dysfunction following radical prostatectomy. I've been blessed with my first grandchild March 12, 2019. A little girl #GodIsGreat!

I'm filing a claim for benefits under 38 U.S.C. 1151(a) & 3.311. I fight Cancer for myself and I fight for my rights for my Grandchild.

I salute all Vets who served! #ArmyStrong1973-1976

Congratulations, Dechayga, on becoming a grandpa, and thanks for your service. Thanks to all the other Vets here as well. I hope the claims process moves forward expeditiously for you and with a favorable result. I hope you emerge from the process with a good quality of life, both medically and economically.

W.

Welcome to the group. Good luck with your claim. Hopefully, you don't get the run around like others do. Luckily, I had everything documented in my medical record when I filled my claim.

Congrats on the grand child. :D

When I filed my claim to the VA back in 1991 I went through the local DAV https://www.dav.org/ and had them file my claim.
I got more than I thought I would and they know how to go through the red tape that the VA has lots of.

Good luck and hope everything goes good for you.

Please keep us updated on how things go.

Schoppy
